The ‘Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan’ initiative is driving police action across Punjab. In Bathinda, police seized NDPS substances from key locations, with DIG and SP officials leading operations.

Opposition Criticizes Timing of Crackdown

Opposition leaders, including former CM Charanjit Singh Channi and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa, have questioned the timing and effectiveness of the campaign. Bajwa criticized the state government’s delay, arguing that Punjab’s youth had already suffered before this initiative.
