Background of the Case

A schoolgirl from Guwahati’s Maligaon area has gone missing. Nibedita Das, a ninth-grade student of Ambikagiri Higher Secondary School in the Gosala area, disappeared while on her way to school. Since Wednesday morning, there has been no news about her.

Family’s Alarm

Nibedita’s mother was informed of her absence by the school, leading the family into a state of panic. Despite searching with relatives and neighbors, no clues have been found regarding Nibedita’s whereabouts.

Investigation Initiated

A formal missing person complaint has been lodged at the local police station. It states that Nibedita disappeared in her school uniform while heading to class. Guwahati police have begun investigating the case, but two days have passed without any leads, adding to the mystery surrounding her disappearance.
