Congress candidate Alka Lamba, representing the Kalkaji Assembly seat, strongly supported allegations made by Sandeep Dikshit, Congress candidate from New Delhi, that Punjab Police personnel are involved in campaigning for AAP in Delhi elections. Lamba confirmed that these claims are not just allegations but a reality, accusing Arvind Kejriwal of misusing Punjab’s resources for political gains in Delhi.

Misuse of Punjab’s Resources for Delhi Elections

Lamba pointed out that in her Kalkaji constituency, areas like Govindpuri resemble Punjab, as Punjab’s administrative officers and citizens are being deployed in Delhi’s election campaign. She stated that the resources meant for Punjab’s welfare are being diverted to help Kejriwal’s electoral efforts. Lamba also criticized Kejriwal for allegedly using fear among Punjab’s ministers, who reportedly worry about losing their positions if the AAP loses in Delhi.

Allegations Against Kejriwal’s Leadership

Lamba expressed frustration over Kejriwal’s political actions, especially his use of free electricity and water schemes as political tools. She emphasized that nothing is free, and such promises only cost taxpayers millions. Lamba also took issue with Kejriwal’s previous actions, including his oath in Bhagat Singh’s name, which she called false and misleading.

Criticism of National Issues and Governance

Lamba also criticized the Central government over the handling of issues like illegal migration, rising crime, and unemployment. She questioned why top leaders like the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and Defence Minister are failing to address the concerns of the common people. Lamba urged for a change in governance, asserting that Congress, led by Rahul Gandhi, offers a strong alternative for a better future
